At the core of our success is our powerful and proprietary drug discovery technology, phage display. This technology provides us a unique advantage of being able to identify and develop our own clinical leads to fuel our internal pipeline. DX-88 Franchise Our lead drug candidate is DX-88, a potent and selective plasma kallikrein inhibitor–a key mediator of inflammation. DX-88's potential is being investigated in other angioedema indications (e.g., acquired and ACE inhibitor-induced). DX-88 is also being investigated by our partner, Fovea/sanofi aventis, for treating retinal vein occlusion induced macular edema.

Discovery Pipeline In addition to our clinical programs, our technology and expertise has allowed us to build a broad pipeline of discovery/preclinical programs focused on finding new therapies for unmet medical needs.

Extensive Licensing Program We make our proprietary phage display libraries and discovery capabilities available to partners and collaborators through revenue-generating licenses. Under this program, known as our Licensing and Funded Research Program, partners can benefit from the same technology we apply to our own clinical development pursuits.
