Discovery Pipeline
In addition to our clinical-stage therapeutic programs, our proprietary phage display technology and expertise allow us to develop a broad pipeline of discovery and preclinical drug candidates.
Of this pipeline, the most advanced is DX-2400, a fully human monoclonal antibody with a unique mechanism of action in attacking cancerous tumors. The novel antibody-based protease inhibitor, DX-2400, specifically inhibits matrix metalloproteinase 14 (MMP-14) which has been shown to significantly inhibit tumor progression and metastasis in multiple oncology animal models.
Another antibody candidate from our preclinical pipeline is DX-2240 which targets the Tie-1 receptor on tumor blood vessels and has therapeutic potential in multiple cancer indications. This novel antibody candidate was licensed to sanofi-aventis as part of a strategic collaboration that included a license to our patented phage display technology and co-development options for future antibody drug candidates discovered by sanofi aventis. Sanofi-aventis is responsible for the ongoing development of DX-2240.
